Evening EMT Training Program in Orange County, CA

Balancing work, life, and a desire to enter the healthcare field can be tough. Our Evening EMT Course is engineered specifically for working students and those who cannot attend daytime classes. Fully approved by Orange County Emergency Medical Services and the NREMT, this program delivers top-tier emergency medical education on a schedule that works for you.

Led by highly credentialed instructors with years of field and teaching experience, this is a 100% in-person classroom experience, no online or hybrid shortcuts. With our strictly limited student-to-teacher ratio, you will receive the focused mentorship, hands-on skills practice, and personalized instruction required to confidently pass the NREMT exam.

Course Schedule & Breakdown

This program is structured to protect your weekdays while ensuring full state and national compliance.

  • Format: 100% In-person learning (NOT online or hybrid)

  • Weekly Schedule: 2 Nights a week (4 hours per night) for lectures + designated Saturdays for hands-on skills training. Offered Mon & Wed 6pm-10pm or Tue & Thur  6pm-10pm

  • Total Hours: 182 hours total

    • 158 Hours: Didactic theory and hands-on skills training

    • 24 Hours: Field clinical ride-alongs on ambulances or in hospitals

2026 Tuition & Payment Structure

We offer a straightforward, two-step payment plan to help you get started easily:

  • Total Course Cost: $1,125 (Note: Textbook must be purchased separately)

  • At Registration: $400 due to secure your spot ($250 is non-refundable)

  • Second Payment: $725 due by the end of the first week of class

To enroll, students must meet the following criteria by the time of their registry exam or clinical rotations:

Age: Must be at least 18 years old by the Registry exam date.

Education: High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or College Diploma.

Certifications: Active AHA or Red Cross BLS Card. (Don't have one? We offer a BLS class during the course for just $40.00).

Health: Copy of a negative TB test taken within the last 6 months.

To maintain professional standards during your training and clinical rotations, the following guidelines apply:

Classroom: Casual, appropriate dress. Visible tattoos and facial piercings are acceptable. Men may wear beards.

Clinical Rotations: Professional uniform required (Dark pants, dark shoes, and your provided Pro-Tech polo). For safety and compliance with our clinical partners, no visible piercings are allowed, tattoos must be covered, and men must be clean-shaven (neat mustaches are permitted). Religious exemptions are carefully considered by our clinical partners.
